Bangkok, Thailand

In recent years Bangkok has developed into a metropolitan and global city, although it still holds fast to its traditional heritage with Thai Buddhist temples and a sense of rich culture streaming through the streets. Being the capital and largest city of Thailand, Bangkok often seems extremely crowded, however, that also adds to its excitement.

Bangkok is very influential in the arts, politics, fashion, education, and entertainment, which helps to bring tourists and migrants from all over the world. Visitors to Bangkok will find no end of sight-seeing opportunities whether it be the Grand Palace, the thousands of beautiful temples, or the National Museum. A trip to the Chatuchak Weekend Market or to Siam Square will give the visitor a taste of Bangkok’s diversity of opportunities for shopping and exploration. Alternatively, for a more relaxing experience, enjoy a short trip to Ko Kret, home of one of the oldest settlements of Mon people in Thailand. The sprawling residential suburbs of Bangkok also provide a calming escape from the city’s busy streets.
