Climate in the Czech Republic

The Czech Republic is a small land-locked country surrounded by Poland, Germany, Austria, and Slovakia. It is made up of three historical lands, including Moravia in the South-East, Bohemia in the West, and Czech Silesia in the North-East. The terrain in the Czech Republic is composed of alpine mountains and densely forested hills that cover about one-third of the country.

The Czech Republic sees its highest temperatures (often in the 70s), accompanied by occasional rainfall, during the summer months of June, July, and August. The winter is significantly colder, with temperatures as low as 20 degrees F in the cities and 5 degrees F in the mountains. The mountains typically see about 130 days of snow per year
